All the distance, all the fears, they make us feel apart
And listening to you sleeping, I can hear your soul take flight

Quietly you hold me at the ending of the day
Softly healing all my hurts, while in my room I lay
And though you cannot touch my hand, your spirit shines so bright

The love you give the whole day through
The tears I shed from missing you
the careing you accept from me makes everything all right

The time approaches when I'll be within your soft embrace
I'll touch your silken hair, and look into your gently face
